The Rapid Response also protects the foot in several ways. The ASTM F2413-05-rated composite toe guards the foot from compressive loads up to 2,500 pounds and impacts up to 75 pounds. A Shock Eliminator heel cushion and dual-density outsole absorb shock, while a dual-density polyurethane cushion and EVA midsole protect the sole of the foot. No need to fumble with laces at the end of a tough mission. The durable YKK side zipper allows for rapid on-off.
